This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of company Public Relations and for
the corporate reputation and positioning. As a seasoned PR professional and creative thinker,
the person should consistently apply innovative approaches to increasing the awareness and
scope of our clientís mission. This person will provide strategic PR support for marketing
initiatives and media advertisements.
This person serves as the point person for incoming media inquiries and establishes and
maintains relationships with top business and feature writers. Provides support for and/or
manages corporate announcements, serves as spokesperson on issues and crises; and manages
press rooms and media materials.
This person will establish PR plans and oversee execution against those plans, oversee press
releases and document development as well as serve as company spokesperson in appropriate
situations. The position requires supporting and interfacing with many members of the staff
so strong interpersonal skills are a must.
Bachelorís or advanced degree in Public Relations, English, journalism, communications, or
business communications related degree.
Experience running and working in a PR capacity.
5-8 years experience in PR with digital media and high-tech experience.
Excellent writing, editing, oral and interpersonal communications skills required
Ability to think and communicate strategically with a variety of people
Demonstrate outstanding judgment
Project management, leadership and decision making skills
Experience in advertising preferred
Can work independently
