BDR Title, a subsidiary of Mercedes Homes, is a successful Real Estate Title Company. We are
currently expanding, and we are seeking a VP of OPERATIONS.
Applicants must have a Florida Title Agent’s license with 6 – 10 years experience. Prior
management experience is a must!
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operation of all branches
2 Fill in/assist any branch manager in times of illness; vacation or high
closing volume ( offices located in: Orange City, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, Melbourne,
Palm City, Spring Hill, Dallas, Austin, Ft. Myers, (together with potential future offices in
Sarasota, Crystal River, Palm Bay and the Palm Beach area), potentially resulting in extensive
travel and prolonged overnight stays.
3 Budget Planning; Maintenance; reviews;counseling;
4 Set up new offices and train staff;
5 Human Resources - Hiring and evaluating employees ; providing
performance feedback and facilitating professional growth;
6 Use title knowledge to assist in examination/clearance of title
searches; preparation of commitments and policies
7 Escrow Functions – including but not limited to reconciliations and
8 Workup and close files
9 Performs other duties as assigned by Vice President and/or President
*High School Diploma--College Degree in Business a plus but not necessary
*Bilingual a plus
*Must have Florida Title Agent's License
*6-10 years of full title experience
*3-4 management of multiple sites
