Job Description:

located in our Cranbury, NJ (NJ Turnpike, Exit 8A) research facility. To learn more about

This new position reports to the Executive Director of Preclinical Research & Development and
is responsible for project management of preclinical development and new drug safety studies
including activities with external collaborators and contractors.

 

Responsibilities:

Selection of contract organizations, negotiation of contracts, design and implementation of
study protocols including all details from insuring adequate supplies to the completeness and
accuracy of all data in accordance with GLP regulations.
Oversee ongoing studies including on site monitoring at key stages.
Review and editing of study reports with responsibility for signing of protocol approvals,
amendments, and final reports.
Coordination of findings from in house research and safety studies with the design and results
of outsourced studies.
Assist with the preparation of data packages for submission to regulatory agencies.
Interaction with member of other departments in order to ensure smooth and timely execution of
preclinical studies.
 

Requirements:

Experience with protocol development and analyzing, reviewing and preparing preclinical
related reports.
MS (minimum) or PhD (preferred) degree in toxicology, pharmacology or biology.
At least 5 years related industry experience including prior pharmaceutical development
project management experience and familiarity with GLP and other regulatory guidelines.
Domestic travel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and graphics software.
