Involved in the re-design and development of blood filtration products. Supports R&D in
introducing new products. Will identify solutions for quality issues or cost reduction
opportunities on blood filtration products. Perform engineering studies and test plans for
component and systems. Works with sales and marketing personnel to meet customer expectations
for product quality and performance.
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. Minimum 5 years
in medical device manufacturing company. Possess excellent written, verbal & presentation
skills. Ability to use AutoCad-14 and MS-Project software. Knowledge of MRP systems, such as
MAPICS, and Risk Analysis/FMEA. Experience with Design Control Guidelines per ISO9000 and GMP.
Knowledge of medical disposable materials, such as PVC, Polycarbonate, ABS and packaging films.
Familiar with extrusion, injection molding, Form/Fill/Seal and Thermoforming. Possess a solid
track record in introducing new products. Be able to name devices that were introduced by the
