NC; Troy, MI; Harrisburg, PA.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in Foxconn Introductory Training (FIT) program, an intense six-month effort
intended to expose trainees to the following areas: Production, Manufacturing Engineering,
Quality Control / Quality Assurance, Design Engineering, Research & Development, Finance,
Sales & Marketing. Beginning with a short introductory session in the US, trainees will then
spend the next 6 months living, training and working at a premier Foxconn location in China.
Participants will engage in a combination of classroom, computer-based training, and live
on-the-job experiential learning. An annual salary, travel, visa, lodging and some meal
expenses will be covered by the company.
The desired outcome of the program (upon completion) is to “graduate” the participants into
the Foxconn workforce as regular employees placed at a Foxconn location in the US. The skills
and knowledge they acquire through the FIT program will position them to have an immediate
impact on business results in the areas of Sales & Marketing, Design Engineering, or Research
& Development. As the program nears conclusion, positions will be identified in our strategic
U.S. locations and the candidates will be placed accordingly. Placement will be determined on
a number of factors including 1) business need, and 2) candidate qualifications.
Consideration will be given to the participant’s desire for a specific location, but cannot be
BS and/or MS in Mechanical Engineering or MBA with interest in a high technology sales
engineering career required. Minimum of two letters of recommendation from both university
faculty and non-university affiliation required. Bi-lingual (English/Mandarin) may be useful,
but not required. Participation in extra-curricular activities including active participation
in university sponsored clubs or organizations preferred.
