We are looking for a Technical Specialist to support members of our team in our Fairfax, VA
headquarters office. Specific responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert to
start up and commission mission critical center equipment/systems such as power generation and
distribution systems, uninterruptible power supplies, static transfer switches, PDUís, BAS &
BMS systems. They will develop, oversee / implement methodologies, which resolve the problems.
Technical Specialists will ensure testing is performed in conformance with standards and
procedures; act as liaison with vendors and subcontractors regarding problem resolution and
perform testing as required. They will also be responsible for recommending and writing
startup and commissioning policies and procedures, which enhance project completion and
documentation of testing.
Qualified candidates must have 7 years of industry experience in either electrical power
distribution or mechanical systems or both. In addition, they must be organized, possess
excellent written and oral communication skills, listening skills, the ability to work in a
high stress environment, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Candidates must be able to regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel
objects, use tools or other components, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch,
climb, crawl, talk, hear and smell. Must have the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to
50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. Candidates must be available to work
emergency service and shift work as required. Candidates must possess a valid driverís license
and transportation that is capable of carrying light hand tools. Due to contractual
opportunities candidatesí driverís license must be valid in all states supported by Lee
Technologies. Certain sites may require candidates to obtain security clearances. This
position will require extensive travel.
