OP200 - Senior Engineer, Gasoline Engine Combustion
Responsible for the combustion development of gasoline engines in a test cell environment.
Technical area’s will include calibration for performance, emissions and fuel consumption.
Experience with advanced combustion systems, such as gasoline direct injection or forced
induction applications, will be helpful. The senior engineer will simultaneously lead multiple
research and production development projects, providing technical guidance and project
leadership to the team. The responsibilities associated with leading these projects includes;
general planning and budgeting of development programs, overseeing several engine test cells,
allocating facility and personnel resources, interfacing with project engineers and
technicians as well as preparing and presenting data.
Production engine calibration skills and experience required
Heavy theoretical knowledge of the internal combustion engine desired
Must be experienced with combustion analysis and calibration tools
Experience in both gasoline and diesel engines is a plus
Familiarity with gasoline direct injection is a plus
Demonstrated teamwork, leadership and project management skills
Exceptional customer communication and presentation skills
5 years minimum experience in related positions
