Job Description:
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this position is responsible for assisting the Finance
Directors of the business units and the Corporate Finance staff in the enhancement,
application, integration and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, 404. This position will require a
high degree of interaction with various groups within the Company as well as external auditors,
external legal counsel and outside consultants.


1) Ensure that process flow diagrams and process narratives for supporting the Company's 404
business model are updated on a timely and accurate basis

2) Work with the Controller and Asst Controller in ensuring that the Corporate Accounting
Policy Manual is updated as corporate policies change.

3) Work with the Controller and Asst Controller in the creation of new accounting polices
related to US GAAP compliance and other internal policy requirements.

4) Development and validation of local Sarbanes 404 test results

5) Liaise with Internal Audit with respect to internal controls and interpretation of Sarbanes

6) Maintenance of the "Policy IQ" database (Repository of Sarbanes 404 compliance documents)

7) Execution and coordination of quarterly Sarbanes 404 surveys

8) Identify and evaluate results and provide feedback to Controller and Internal Audit re:
areas of concern with respect to 404 

9) Liaise with external auditors re: Sarbanes 404 compliance

10) Provide independent verification of processes and internal controls

11) Support resource for all business units re: Sarbanes 404 compliance and Company Policy and

12) Ensure that all new material functions are included in the Sarbanes assessment


 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA required with 4 to 5 years of accounting experience,
professional certifications (CIA, CISA) desirable
 Strong knowledge of SEC rules and SOX
 Ability to interact independently with senior financial management
 Ability to manage projects with changing priorities and tight deadlines
 Excellent technical knowledge in accounting
 Team player with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
 Results oriented individual
 Strong analytical and problem solving skills
 Solid writing and presentation skills
 Solid hands-on experience with MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point
