Coordinates, directs, and monitors the daily activities of the Department to ensure
Manufacturing, Packaging, Logistics, or Maintenance objectives are achieved; as well as
compliance with quality, safety, regulatory requirements, and cGMP guidelines. Identifies
deficiencies and makes recommendations for improvements.
Participates in developing, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures for the
area of responsibility.
Monitors department performance through performance measurement tools and provides feedback to
Assists with troubleshooting and repair of equipment, and insures all equipment is well
maintained, clean, and in good working order. Keeps management informed of equipment status.
Ensures all employees receive proper training, such as GMP, SOP, Safety, and Operations.
Communicates company objectives to employees. Monitor employee performance and provide
coaching and training as required.
Administers Human Resources functions within Department, including interviewing potential
employees, performance reviews, employee relations issues and overall Company communications.
