Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters.
∑ Obtain and maintain a thorough knowledge of the diagnostic and surgical ophthalmic industry.
Proficiency in the repair, maintenance, operation of diagnostic and surgical instrumentation.
∑ Exercise sound judgment and decision making within defined procedures and practices to
determine appropriate action.
∑ Manage assigned territory as an individual profit center. This includes responsibility for
territories that may cross one or more state lines utilizing company vehicle and transporting
parts for customerís instruments. Territory revenue is produced from Warranty Extension
Agreements (WEAs) and Billable Income. Manage expenses to maintain a profit margin of at least
∑ Exercise selling skills and customer care ability necessary to achieve revenue and margin
goals. This is accomplished through the sale of new Warranty Extension Agreements, continuing
renewals of existing WEAs and ensuring total customer satisfaction.
∑ Promote the growth of Carl Zeiss Meditec by actively identifying potential sales leads.
