The primary function of the Project Engineer is to lead the engineering execution of heat
processing and ancillary equipment on engineering projects, to monitor and maintain the
engineering schedule, to instruct the mechanical design team, and to provide technical
engineering support during project installation and commissioning.
Functions as the primary engineering point of contact for the project with the responsibility
and authority for all technical functions of the equipment.
Interfaces with design, manufacturing, quality, project management and field service personnel
in the mechanical engineering of equipment on projects; meeting all safety and engineering
codes and requirements.
Serving as a liaison between the company’s locations, the project engineer will instruct
junior project engineers, senior designers, designers, and drafters assigned to each project
to ensure engineering drawing quality and accuracy.
