Financial Relationship Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Responsible for providing superior sales and service to customers by acting as the primary
relationship manager for our most profitable client base. 

Responsible for maintaining and growing revenue, providing personalized and professional
service and for effectively cross-selling and using a reactive needs-based selling approach. 

Identifies and provides appropriate financial solutions and utilizes and coordinates Sovereign
business partnerships to meet and exceed client needs. 

Uses sales process skills and techniques to determine customer requirements drawing from the
full spectrum of Sovereignís products and services to produce total integrated financial

Takes ownership of customer satisfaction. 

Possesses a thorough knowledge of traditional banking products, understands various types of
securities and is able to qualify applicants for the full array of non-traditional banking

Understands all appropriate policies, procedures, and processes that impact work activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred) and two
years of sales and relationship management experience. Highly effective verbal and written
communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills, excellent sales and
service skills, relationship management skills, the ability to make independent decisions and
the ability to identify, respond and resolve the diverse needs of the customer are also
necessary. Annuity/Life licensing requirement is strongly recommended within the first six
