Job Description:
Business/legal book publisher is looking for a summer intern to help with various editing
projects throughout the summer. Intern would be expected to work approximately 30-40 hours a
week, and the position can be done remotely.

The bulk of the work would entail turning transcribed interviews into more normal, flowing
text to be in a chapter. The transcriptions feature interviews with top level executives and
lawyers, which makes the editing highly interesting. Intern needs to be able to work very
efficiently and get through the chapter edits in a timely manner. Intern must also have
excellent editing skills and a positive attitude.

Great opportunity to get "real" editing and publishing experience with a leading book
publisher. Intern would work directly with VP of editorial. Compensation is $1,500 for the
summer, and credit in all the books worked on. Please email cover letter and resume to
reed@aspatore.com with dates you could work (such as June 1 - Sept. 1) and specific examples
of editing done in the past.
