Job Description:
PreVision Marketing has an outstanding opportunity for a Sr. Marketing Analyst to join our
Analytics Services Team. The Sr. Marketing Analyst is responsible for the design and
implementation of qualitative and quantitative market research, with linking to
transactional-level database analysis to support strategic marketing programs. 

Key Responsibilities:
· Involvement in client discussions to propose and shape research projects
· Participate in proposal writing and in-depth design and delivery of research projects (e.g.,
surveys, focus groups)
· Select and manage vendors for fielding work and data collection
· Develop and implement a research analysis plan, typically involving both basic statistics
and the application of more advanced multivariate methods
· Prepare reports of findings, and translate findings into actionable marketing insights 
· Perform other non research related analyses to support marketing strategies, including
customer behavior segmentation, experimental test design, and other types of database
· Participate in client communications, including presentation of results to senior
· Coordinate with other analysts and SAS programmers across multiple projects including
offering and product development

Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Marketing, Statistics, Psychology, or a related
quantitative field · 2-3 years of primary qualitative and quantitative market research
experience ideally in pharmaceutical, retail, direct marketing, or related field · Programming
proficiency in statistical software language SAS or other statistical software (SPSS, S-Plus,
KXEN) · Experience in survey design and result evaluation including reporting, in-depth data
analysis, and statistical significance testing · Strong communication, presentation and
writing skills

In addition, the following experience is preferable:
Survey design for product/offer trade-off (conjoint, choice-based discrete, constant sum),
pricing (price elasticity), and optimization (TURF, Value analysis & perceptual mapping), and
segmentation (attitudinal, needs, deficiencies, pychographics, utilities) · Experience with
major research vendors, fielding channels (mail, telephone, e-mail, website, mall intercept),
and data sources (standard vs. custom panel) · Experience with applied statistical techniques
confirmatory factor analysis, correspondence and cluster analysis, CHAID, classification and
regression trees (CART), discrete choice models, experimental design, regression modeling ·
Project management skills a plus: ability to manage multiple analytic projects including
development of project and analysis plans
