The Opportunity 

A Senior Consultant will have the opportunity to play a key role in Eduventures' Advisory
Practice. This individual will report to the Director, Advisory Practice and will be
responsible for leading consulting projects and client relationships, managing consulting
teams, and participating in the business development process. 


The Senior Consultant will lead and manage client engagements, generally working with a 2-5
person project team. The Senior Consultant will facilitate the development, execution, and
delivery of client engagements, including managing relationships with clients and developing
appropriate project roles and activities for team members. In addition to team-based advisory
fulfillment responsibilities, the Senior Consultant is expected to identify and implement
leading practices to enhance the Advisory Practice and play an active business development
role. Specifically, chief responsibilities of the 
senior consultant will include: 

• Managing client engagement process, from participation in business 
development activities to delivery of final project to clients 
• Creating project segments, assigning responsibilities to team members, and 
ensuring completion consistent with predefined standards 
• Acting as a thought leader for projects; creating hypothesis-driven work 
• Coordinating necessary resources with the Director, Advisory Practice to fulfill advisory
• Supporting new sales opportunities and driving relationships to secure client 
• Identifying and championing new product and service opportunities 
• Facilitating knowledge management activities across the organization

• Professional interest in education, information services, and training markets 
• Proven communication, management, and leadership capabilities 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
• Professional consulting/education management experience 
• Attention to detail and accountability for results 
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years related experience required; MBA valued
