Job Description:
- Full time M -F 
- Day shift 
- Bachelors Degree required 
- 3 - 5 years management experience required 

Under limited supervision, manages and coordinates the integrated project plans, including
implementation schedules and resource estimates. Directs, coordinates and facilitates multiple
business process re-engineering activities to enhance Lowell General Hospitals information
systems and processes. Provide management in the planning, development, rollout and support of
hospital applications. Work closely with all hospital departments in the use and benefits of
hospital applications and performance improvement initiatives. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Develops integrated project plans, implementation schedules,
and cost estimates for major, long-term projects; prepares and manages project budgets and
performs periodic cost and productivity analyses. 2. Communicates regularly with executive
management and administration regarding the status of current project initiatives; obtains
executive guidance and approval as required to advance initiatives. 3. Provides strategic,
expert advice and consultation on the design and implementation of Clinical and business
processes across the Hospital, to include process analysis, redesign, reengineering, and
organizational effectiveness. 4. Participates in the establishment, organization, and
implementation of short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures;
monitors and evaluates project effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement. 5.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's
degree; at least 10 years of Healthcare IT experience that is directly related to the duties
and responsibilities specified. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Skill in organizing
resources and establishing priorities. Knowledge of project management principles, practices,
techniques, and tools. Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze
comprehensive business processes, perform in-depth work analyses, and develop
computer-generated flow charts. Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational
needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions. Ability to develop project budgets and
projections. Group facilitation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills. Skill in examining
and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and
implementing new strategies and procedures. Skill in the use of personal computers and related
software applications. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team
environment. Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals. WORKING
CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work
environment. No or very limited physical effort required.
