Job Description:
Responsibilities: Acquire, develop and support CAD tools and methodologies to enable the design
and layout of a wide array of products (analog, RF, mix signal, multi-million gate SoC's,
...)using the latest process technologies. With the ever-increasing complexity of desings we
require an energtic and innovative engineer to improve the existing methodologies and CAD tool
usage at ADI. 1. Investigate new tools, develop utilities and customize vendor software in
support of design teams. 2. Work closely with the design teams to enable the efficient use of
CAD tools and methodologies. 3. Develop new tools and methodologies in support of the design
community. 4. Interface with Vendors (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor...) to identify and resolve
tool related issues and enhancements. 5. Work on corporate CAD teams to develop techniques and
methods that will be used by all of Analog Devices. 


Requirements: BSEE with a strong computer science background and a detailed understanding of
Custom and Semicustom IC design and layout. Firm understanding of Cadence DFII and the Skill
programming language. Five plus years experience required. Must possess excellent
communication skills both oral/written.
