Job Description:
Job Summary:
Provide engineering support for Production by designing Test Stands, fixtures, and other
mechanical tools to facilitate pressure and flow product manufacturing and documenting all
work. Responsible for PM planning and maintenance of equipment (vacuum pumps, leak detectors,
welders, etc.) Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems in all aspects of Production
(assembly, test, and calibration).

Job Details:
h Solve technical and process challenges associated with Production of electro-mechanical
pressure and flow products.
h Responsible for designing and improving Quality processes that ensure repeatability, zero
defects, and warranty reduction.
h Analyze and improve production yield of pressure and flow products.
h Maintain and fully document Manufacturing process. Create schematics, assembly drawings,
and process documents as required by Manufacturing Engineering Plan.
h Design, document, and build vacuum/pressure Manufacturing Test Stand fixtures used in
Production testing and calibration of pressure and flow products.
h Troubleshoot and correct Production problems associated with equipment, and fixtures.
h Recommend and perform Cost Reduction activities in areas of assembly, test, and
calibration. Eliminate variation using Six Sigma tools such as Poke-yoke design, PM planning,
and gage R&R studies.
h Recommend corrective actions and participate on Continuous Improvement tasks which gain
quantifiable results in eliminating errors in the Production area.
h Perform engineering tasks on time per project schedule as a team member and provide
technical leadership in assigned area.
h Maintain project costs, and schedule.
h Perform hands-on maintenance and repair of equipment.

Job Requirements:
h B.S. Mechanical Engineering
h 3 to 5 years relevant experience
h SolidWorks
h Geometric tolerancing
h Participated in TQM activities
h Experience creating assembly documentation/instructions
h Experience working in lean production environment
h Experience in DFM analysis
h Strong preference for pressure/vacuum/controls experience
