Job Description:
Reporting to the VP of Sales and Business Development, the Northeast Regional Sales Manager
will initiate and drive sales of Expresso’s interactive cardiovascular fitness systems in New
England, New York and New Jersey. Responsibilities of the position will include:

- Jump-starting sales of our highly differentiated, innovative products to area health clubs
and fitness facilities,
- Making frequent customer site visits (50%+ travel) to generate interest, close business and
ensure customer satisfaction remains at the highest level,
- Establishing and managing sales channels for secondary markets, such as hotels, cruise
ships, corporate fitness centers and educational fitness facilities,
- Creating and managing monthly sales forecasts and budgets to ensure that the pipeline of
activity is always sufficient to meet corporate goals and resources are optimized,
- Delivering market intelligence to enable Expresso to add product features and position its
future products and services,
- Representing Expresso at business-related functions such as trade shows and fitness industry
association meetings, 
- Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying abreast of the competitive
landscape. 

The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
- A college degree, professional training or comparable experience,
- A minimum of five years of sales expertise, including direct sales and sales through
partner/channel networks,
- Experience selling complex solutions to non-technical customers,
- A self-starter with high initiative and the desire to meet or exceed aggressive sales
goals,
- Good organizational skills as demonstrated by a willingness to take a structured approach to
augmenting and expanding our growing database customers,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- A professional but friendly demeanor, 
- A member or longstanding past member of one or more health clubs or fitness facilities, 
- Some knowledge of competitive cardiovascular fitness products, and 
- An active interest in health and fitness.

Compensation will include a base salary supplemented by bonuses for acquiring new accounts in
the area/region.
