Our channel partner program is designed to enroll value added resellers and systems integrators
and convert these partners into pipeline building and revenue generating sales channels. The
Channel Manager is tasked with identifying, developing, and nurturing channel partners to
promote Biscom's secure file transfer product line.
Responsibilities for the Channel Manager include identification and pursuit of potential new
channel partners, education and development of interested prospects, and conversion of
interested prospects into contributing sales and marketing partners.
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Channel Manager will be the evangelist
to the channel for the supported product lines, and will work with Biscom's sales, marketing,
engineering, and finance teams to manage day to day activities in support of the channel.
Principal duties include:
*Target VARs and Systems Integrators for participation in the channel partner program;
*Evaluate potential partners for effectiveness in the channel program;
*Educate potential partners on our product lines and our channel program details;
*Enroll new partners in the program;
*Train and work with Biscom's sales team in support of the channel program;
*Manage the Channel Program within set budgets, including creation of co-managed events with
established channel partners;
*Contribute to the evolution of the Channel Program, including definition of rules of
engagement, margins, and allocation of required marketing resources.
Our ideal candidate will have:
*A Bachelors degree;
*At least five years professional work experience in software sales;
*Experience recruiting and managing VARs and SIs;
*Strong verbal communication skills.
