Department Overview:
The Account Administration Group is responsible for monitoring portfolio compliance and the
calculating and reporting of portfolio performance. The Account Administration Group advises
the portfolio managers on a variety of rules and regulations from the SEC, IRS and various
foreign governments. Analysts utilize BlackRock's proprietary trading systems and accounting
applications in every aspect of their job.


Qualifications 

•Bachelors degree required
•1 - 3 years experience in the financial services industry
•Computer proficiency in Excel and Word
•Works well as part of a team 
•Enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment 
•Experience with Advent (Axys and Moxy) a plus 
•Knowledge of accounting is preferable 


Accountabilities:

Net Assets and Performance Reconciliation Process
•Ensure accuracy of performance and eliminate financial risks (i.e. have primary focus on Risk
Management of Cash Reconciliation items)
•Ensure timely reconciliation of BlackRock records with Custodian
•Reconcile the NAV and Performance with Custodian information
•Research and document all differences between BlackRock and Custodian
•Utilize Bloomberg and Axys systems extensively in the course of reconciliation
•Ensure New Accounts, Terminated Accounts and the Custodians have implemented any Change of
Custodian successfully and correctly
Communication
•Work with Trading Systems Group to ensure correct set up of Securities in systems
•Work closely with Operations group to resolve issues 
•Develop and maintain relationship with Custodian Banks on the accounting and administration
of various accounts
•Establish regular communication with Custodian Banks to resolve all differences
