BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life) is a community-based, non-profit, educational
organization. Its mission is to enhance the academic performances and life opportunities of
elementary school children living in low-income, urban communities. BELL operates after-school
and summer educational programs currently serving thousands of children each year in the
Boston, New York City and Washington, DC regions. Our school-based programs are nationally
recognized for their small-group tutoring sessions, curriculum-based instruction, rigorous
evaluation and strong commitment to parental involvement. In order to accomplish our ambitious
growth goals for increasing our volume of students,school sites and geographic coverage, BELL
requires strong leaders within its national team particularly around the effort to reach out
to schools and establish strong working relationships with principals and other school
administrators. The job is located in Dorchester.
We have an opening for someone to make calls to school principals to set appointments for the
sales team. You must be able to get past gatekeepers, be quick thinking, be able to handle
objections, have a high energy level and be persistent.
You will create sales reports and setup accounts in our CRM database, do mailings, create
presentations and proposals, coordinate schedules and handle correspondence and communication
to clients via email and phone.
Candidates should have experience with inside phone sales; experience with a CRM tool would be
a plus. The ideal candidate will have good organizational, time management and customer service
skills. Should be familiar with MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Outside sales experience
is not required.
