ACCOUNT MANAGER II
This is your opportunity to be part of a progressive and innovative Sales Team with one of the
leading distribution companies in the country. United Stationers, North America’s largest
wholesale distributor of business and office products with sales in excess of 3.5 billion, is
looking to expand and strengthen its field Sales Team as part of exciting organizational
changes. As a result, we have an immediate opportunity on our sales team in the Boston Metro
Market, servicing established clients and developing new clients.
The position reports to a District Sales Manager. The customer base is retail distributors of
office and business products. Primary responsibilities are to prospect for new customers, apply
progressive relationship selling techniques to build long-term customer relationships, bring
corporate marketing/sales programs to the field, train customers on product offerings and
participate on cross-functional business teams. Performance will be measured by top-line sales
growth and margin management.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Marketing or a related field)
· Excellent communication/presentation skills
· Ability to provide training to customers on product and services
· High-level consultative skills – analysis, inquiry, fact finding, and solution
identification
· Ability to win-win negotiate
· Effective time management and organizational skills
· Strong PC skills
