Key Account Manager
Odwalla is a leading national brand of nourishing food products, including fresh juices,
nutritionally fortified juice blends, food bars, and spring water. We have a need for an
Account Manager to perform the following duties.
Sell Odwalla products to designated key accounts and up and down the street accounts. Manage
product mix to meet distribution and merchandising objectives for each account. Conduct
informal business reviews with customers to update accounts on business, programs and
initiatives. Prepare and present proposals for improving distribution, linear footage, sales,
and service in all accounts. Attend store openings, promotional activities, and trade
functions. Analyze all Odwalla trade promotional activity ad results (pre, during, and
post-program). Develop fact-based strategies for each activity in each account.
Plan, communicate, and implement schematics to ensure that re-sets are to plan. With Director,
Sales & Opís, other Account Managers or Third Party Distributor, orchestrate participation in
re-sets as required. Ensure chematics are implemented in all accounts.
Communicate specific display programs and their requirements to relevant personnel. Work with
them to ensure display objectives and programs are executed according to plan.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelorís degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 7 yearsí
industry related experience which includes: direct store delivery (DSD) management,
distributor management; a proven track record of being able to promote initiatives that build
and create strong trade partnerships; a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,strong computer skills in Microsoft Word,
Power Point, and Excel, including being able to prepare presentations. Demonstrated analytical
