Job Description:
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Provide technical support to corporate desktop systems. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting,
software and hardware installations, and prepare new systems for client delivery. Provide
technical guidance to Help Desk Support Team 




RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Following helpdesk procedures and trouble ticketing system. Perform first level helpdesk
support by monitoring ticketing system and contacting requestors for a needs assessment.
Perform second level helpdesk support by identifying the issue and implementing a resolution.
Maintain helpdesk tickets and IT equipment inventory database. Assist in rollouts of new
software versions and configurations. Mentor desktop support team members. Maintain remote
installation and imaging mechanisms. Work with system administrators to assist in the
identification of system level issues. Assist in general telecommunications and network
connectivity issues. Issues may include: Telco / Data cabling, system configuration issues,
global outages, assisting in the installation of new Telco / Data cabling. Prepare work area
for new hires and employee relocations, by setting up the IT equipment and ensuring the work
area is fully functional. Configure and prepare new systems for new hires and contractors then
setup and deploy to work area. Prepare conference rooms for meetings by setting up AV and
computer equipment. Preparing documentation for departmental configuration procedures 

REQUIREMENTS: 

2-3 years of technical support and/or customer service experience required. Relevant technical
degree preferred Personal computers, laptops, AV equipment, printers and related software
applications experience preferred. Various third party applications. Systems management
applications; SMS, Windows XP, Windows 2000, and latest Microsoft Office suite. General office
environment. Heavy lifting required at times. Travel required
