Job Description:
KFS is the nation's leading credit card advisor to credit unions. Headquartered in Boston with
more than 300 employees in 5 countries, KFS sells and markets credit cards, consumer loans and
several other financial products to over 5,000 affinity groups and over 100 credit unions. 

Role: 

Senior Account Management for direct mail program execution of 425 million packages. 

Responsibilities: 

A. Team Management 
-Monitor/supervise Marketing team of 5; 4 internal and 1 on-site at client 
-Provide on-going training in all aspects of program execution and account management skills
(as well as production and process efficiency) 
-Provide overall support as necessary (hands on) 
-Perform annual performance and salary reviews 

B. Account Management 
-Ultimately responsible for business line (revenue and cost management) 
-Understand overall process and procedures and facilitate change where necessary in order to
streamline (reduce speed to market and/or overhead requirements) 
-Weekly interface with client and third parties (e.g. vendors, consultants, agency); travel to
Portland for on-site meetings required (minimum once per quarter) 
-Prepare a weekly status highlighting key challenges, accomplishments as well as
prioritization of tasks for subsequent week(s) 
-Prepare a monthly Management report that outlines program accuracy and key milestones for
senior client and Kessler management 
-Develop campaign reports that identify drivers of cost, workload and scheduling for senior
management at client and Kessler management 

C. Cost Containment 
-Review and approve all quotes, tie-outs, and invoices for program 
-Identify cost saving initiatives, get client approval and maintain cost savings tracker 
-Interface with client Finance team on all cost information and tracking 
-Responsible for conveying production and cost savings ideas concerns with client and
resolving any outstanding issues 

D. Program Execution 
-Responsible for direct mail program mailing on time, on budget, with zero defects 
-Understand client testing strategy and implications to production execution 
-Responsible for overall development and auditing of production matrix 
-Understand production manufacturing and help direct client and agency to design to maximize
technical efficiencies 
-Understand list management and quality control data output audits 
-Responsible for overall development and management of scheduling/timelines 
-Responsible for understanding current process flow, identifying opportunities and
facilitating change within KMS, agency or client where necessary 
-Responsible for developing and enforcing quality control procedures 
-Work closely with internal Production and Desktop departments 
-Review all new creative from agency to ensure accuracy, on target with test set up, cost
ramifications have been identified and cost savings options have been discussed if necessary 

Requirements: 
-College degree and 10+years direct marketing experience 
-Ability to organize and manage many priorities and be able to interface with a variety of
senior managers, internal departments, clients, and assigned personnel 
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as strong cost accounting skills required 
-Travel is required in this position
