Performs activities concerned with the manufacture, testing and troubleshooting of DUV excimer
lasers in a production environment. Identifies deviations from test process and recommends and
implements corrective actions. Recommends changes in design, methods, and procedures to
enhance product quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
„X Proficient use of oscilloscopes, chart recorders, and multimeters for debugging new
„X Troubleshooting boards to the component level. Read schematics.
„X Setup and align optics tables and diagnostic tools for measuring beam properties.
„X Working knowledge of LabVIEW data acquisition.
„X Technical problem solving.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
„X BS EE or 8+ years experience in electronics field with very strong trouble shooting skills.
Good computer skills are necessary and programming skills are a plus.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond
to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,
proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic
algebra and geometry. Working knowledge of Algebra and Statistical Data Analysis.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability
to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and
deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Occasional need to lift and transport objects weighing 50lbs. Good eyesight,
hearing and sense of smell required. Attention to detail. Extended time working on feet.
Occasional long overtime hours, sometimes stressful. Extensive time working with CRT¡¦s.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Extended time in class 1000 clean area. Work environment includes potential
exposure to high voltage, harmful ultraviolet laser radiation, toxic gas and high noise
