JOB SUMMARY: The Account Manager is the key contact within VFI responsible for the sell in &
management of assortment development and the assortments productivity. The Account Manager is
accountable for financial metrics, including shipment revenue goals, markdowns, RTV's and
marketing funds. This position is responsible for Vanity Fair, Exquisite Form, Lily of France,
and Private Brands at Sears.
Develop strong working relationships with internal VFI staff and territory account
management including DMM, Buyer, Planners and Marketing Manager.
Determine and sell in product assortments in conjunction with VFI merchandising staff and
account buying teams
Accountable for forecast entry, deadlines and take out performance. Responsible for accurate
Develop account business plans including sales plan metrics, floor space allocation and
Coordinate market week account schedule and develop presentation material necessary for
Manage and communicate required company reports including weekly/monthly OTC, TPA
advertising reports and order fulfillment
Ability to travel as necessary to manage account and attend market week, sales meetings,
Ability to work extended hours
Min. 3 years experience in sales account management in apparel
Understanding of Retail Math
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint; knowledge of databases management & Mainframe
Previous experience with retail replenishment systems required
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong Retail relationship skills required
