DIRECTOR OF MARKETING


We are currently seeking a Director of Marketing. The overall responsibility for this position
is to lead the strategic planning, development and execution of all marketing programs for
Mac-Grays WEB Intelligent Laundry Systems business in the western United States. 

Specific responsibilities for the position include the following:

X Gather market intelligence to help understand and address the competitive environment and
to capitalize on local market opportunities.

X Lead the creation of innovative marketing programs that are designed to build both the
business and the WEB brand. Programs include direct mail, trade advertising, Web site and
online marketing, telemarketing, trade show promotions, public relations and sales
collateral.

X Establish a working relationship with District Sales Managers and local associations for
the multi-housing industry to enhance marketing efforts in key markets.

X Manage a budget for all marketing expenditures.

X Lead the development of compelling responses to RFPs.

X Supervise a Marketing Assistant currently assigned to the business.

X Effective execution of responsibilities will require travel (an estimated 25% of time) to
key markets in the western region.

This position requires the following skills and qualities for the successful execution of
responsibilities:

X Creativity: Able to develop creative solutions to challenges and can lead and contribute to
the development of effective communications developed for marketing and sales purposes.

X Organized: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle a large amount of
information efficiently. Capable of managing an event timeline that allows sufficient advance
planning and preparation to achieve desired results.

X Attentive to detail: Understands that all aspects of a project are important, requiring
thought and attention for successful completion. Can manage a budget well.

X Outgoing personality: Enjoys interacting with others and has a positive influence on the
people he/she comes in contact with. Creates productive working relationships and is a good
representative of the corporation.

X Good Communicator: Effectively conveys information, thoughts and ideas orally and in
writing. Listens well and asks the right questions to take action.

X Good computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Capability to use
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.

Experience

This position requires contemporary experience in a management level marketing capacity, and
7-10 years of experience in a related business environment including Product Management,
Advertising, Direct Marketing, or Research.



Education

BA/BS in a Marketing related discipline is a requirement.
