Job Description:
Benefitfocus is the leading provider of employee benefit software and services, solidly
positioned in the growing 1.6 trillion dollar US healthcare industry. 

We are currently seeking a dynamic, hands-on Director of Client Services to take-charge,
manage, and direct the account management team to drive client success. This position is based
in our Charleston, SC corporate headquarters. 

Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee client relationships.

Support teams of business analysts in career development, training, and coaching.

Keep overall client satisfaction levels high. 

Proactively meet with key clients to gain a full understanding of their business needs.

Proactively solicit client feedback on service offering. 

Be an escalation point for the Client Services group. 

Provide expert-level advice to assist client management and problem-solving.

Develop goals and strategies to support overall business plan.

Plan and lead projects designed to continually increase end-user adoption. 

Identify opportunities for cost reduction in Client Services.

Collaborate with various internal teams including Project Management, Professional Services,
Product Management, and Engineering.

Report internally, on a regular basis, on client performance metrics. 

Follow up with clients to ensure that their inquiries have been dealt with in a satisfactory
manner.

Understanding of employee benefit plans and human resources information systems

Ability to travel 20% of the time.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment

Previous experience with CRM databases and Crystal Reports 

Detail-orientated with strong organizational skills

Proficient with MS Office Suite

Prior experience managing a high performing team

The ideal candidate must possess:
4+ years experience in driving client success in a Director of Client Services or equivalent
title role.
8+ years experience in client relationship and account team management 
Bachelors degree
