Job Description:
Inpatient Physicians Network (IPN), a subsidiary of Pinnacle Health System, has become a
national leader in hospitalist medicine with an established track record of services performed
in more than 44 hospitals and overseeing the admission and discharge of more than a quarter of
a million patients. 

 

Based on its successful operational model in Nevada and a continuing ability to deliver
tangible results for patients, clients and partners, IPN has expanded to include operations in
Arizona and Colorado, with more locations in development. The objective of each IPN hospitalist
team is to ensure that patients receive the right level of care, at the appropriate time, in
the most cost-effective and efficient manner, while ensuring excellent care and outcomes.
Overall, each medical team remains focused on the best interests of patients, backed by a core
belief that high quality costs less.

 

We are seeking a President to be responsible for providing the vision, leadership, planning
and management for the development, implementation and support of Inpatient Physicians Network
of America (IPN-A).  This position eensures that the company has the proper operational
controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively
grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.  

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Business, Health Care or related field. Masters required. 

10 plus years of experience of management in the healthcare industry (operations, reporting,
development, etc.) and/or through advanced training.

Experience in a large group physician practice with multi state experience.  

Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.

Strategy and planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a 12-24 month time span.

Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.

Employee training and development.

Strong customer orientation.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a service organization that mirrors the
adopted vision, mission and core values of the company.

Plan, develop, organize, implement direct and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and
performance.

Participate in the development of the corporation’s plans and programs as a strategic partner.


Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and
business goals and objectives.

Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. 
Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.

Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and
processes.

Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational
infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth
objectives of our organization.

Motivate and lead a high performance management team; attract, recruit and retain required
members of the management team not in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the
management career development program.

Act as lead “client-care officer” through direct contact with every client and partner.

Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

Represent the firm with clients and business partners.
