Job Description:
RPB Systems & Services (formerly RISO Products of Boston), is seeking a responsible person to
make an important contribution to the efficiency of its Service Department. As a vital part of
this growing service team, this person will help to provide the highest possible service level
to its loyal and valued customers. 

Responsibilities include:
•Manage service parts warehouses and inventory
-Analyze and forecast service parts requirements for each parts warehouse based on new product
requirements, current product usage and geographical location
-Maintain optimum inventory levels to provide high availability of frequently used parts to
the service department at the lowest practical cost
-Manage car stock inventories tailored to each Tech’s usage and machine assignments
-Monitor usage of and provide discipline for car stock transactions, making replenishment and
usage recommendations that provide lower cost or more efficient alternatives
-Perform quarterly car stock audit and reconciliation of inventories
-Determine EOQ and ROP for all inventoried parts and service supplies
-Place orders for parts and supplies with all suppliers according to purchase terms and
conditions of each, following company guidelines, policies and procedures
-Process order receipts in inventory system

•Manage relationship with parts suppliers to elicit timely responses and best available
pricing
-Minimize the expense for emergency orders by consolidating orders and avoiding stock-outs
-Optimize warranty returns by keeping track of machine history and applying for all eligible
warranty credit
-Seek alternative parts sources to maximize availability and minimize cost
•Perform analysis of parts usage by equipment type to prepare budget for parts purchases and
to assist management in determining service cost per copy
•Prepare periodic reports of parts usage, purchases, cost analysis, usage trends, and warranty
fulfillment

Experience
•Five plus years in parts/logistics operations in electronic or related industry (copier or
dealer operation preferred)
•PC literacy and five plus years using parts planning/logistics management software

Education
•Bachelor’s degree or extensive training in logistics planning and analysis tools
