Process R&D Engineer needed for Chromatographic Separation Group
Development of chromatographic separation for production (Preparative) using SMB technology
(High Pressure Chromatography). Implementation of new technologies for the organic chemistry
labs. Survey of the technologies available.Improvement of existing technology through better
process control. Implementation of technology for safer and better operating conditions.
Interface with PR&D Organic chemists and Production Process engineers to help transferring
processes from the lab to the plant. Interface with customer. Hands-on job. Evaluation of
processes and Quotation for customers. Writing procedure and batch records (quality
May involve traveling.
-PhD in Chemical engineering with a focus on separation techniques.
-Strong knowledge of Organic chemistry.
-Knowledge in computer programming for equipment control and regulation (Good computer
-Knowledge of chromatographic processes will be a plus.
-3-5 years of industrial experience in process R&D will be a plus (but not necessary)
-Good communication skills (Oral and written)
-Interdisciplinary skills (Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Safety, Chemistry)
-Capable of handling several projects at a time with a lead role
