An online retailer is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to work out of Plainfield, Indiana.

Essential Duties:

*This position will require daily review of 3PL's performance to operational goals.
*Daily review of operational issues.
*Communicating and coordinating with Logistics Manager and on-site operations
manager to correct issues and to ensure compliance with current procedures.
*Investigate inventory control, receiving, and shipping errors and provide feedback to the
Logistics Manager.
*Monitor operations personnel and discuss problems with the appropriate on-site department
manager and the Logistics Manager.
*Respond to and fulfill requests from the accounting, customer service, logistics, and
merchandising departments.
*Inform Logistics Manager of any staffing issue tha twill hinder orders being shipped on-time
or product being received on time.
*Attend daily meetings with the various departments to review prior day's issues and
coordinate corrective action for the issues noted. Communicate on-going issues to the
Logistics Manager and review corrective action that may be necessary.
*Monitor and review all training for the operation, including the new employee orientation,
picking, receiving, inventory control, security, and all other operational training.
*Professional relationship building with the 3PL and its employees.

The working hours will be from 8:00 a.m. until about 5:30 p.m. The job ends when all of the
work for the day has been completed. This is normally around 5:30 p.m., but may be later if
there is a problem or a particularly large workload, especially during the months of October
through December. 


*High School Diploma with 3 verifiable years of experience in inventory control, receiving,
and shipping.
*Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
*Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and SOP's.
*Ability to effectively present information.
*Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
*Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and
concrete variables.
*Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
*Must be able to use e-mail.
