Our clients are some of the most well respected names in education, health, the arts,
international development and government. We are currently working with statistical display
and graphing web applications that help policymakers formulate national legislation. We are
also implementing content management systems, workflow applications, e-commerce applications,
membership modules (applications, directories, etc.), for a variety of organizations and
This position requires a background in web development, and the ability to lead the technical
aspect of multiple web development projects. We also require a solid understanding of n-tier
web application development using ASP and ASP.NET (VB), IIS, and relational databases (SQL). A
strong understanding of object-oriented concepts, design patterns and processes will be a plus.
Since you will be communicating to some extent with our clients and staff, we require excellent
oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at both a
technical and non-technical level.
Experience with XML, XSL and other XML-related technologies and Microsoft MCSD/MCSE
certification are also plusses. A positive attitude and a strong drive to succeed are key
elements as well. Since this is a technical lead position, you will have the opportunity to
use both your coding skills and management skills.
