The American Bar Association is seeking a full-time writer/editor for the Media Relations
Division. This position edits written materials for Division staff and works with the ABA
leadership, senior staff, policy and governmental affairs staff to create persuasive written
material in support of ABA priorities, initiatives and activities-including opinion
editorials, talking points, fact sheets, Q&A’s and feature articles. College degree in
journalism, political science or related subject AND 5-7 years of journalism and/or public
relations writing experience. Experience working on law-related issues in Congress or
government would be very helpful.
