and knowledgeable Product Sustaining Engineer to join our team Headquartered in Pomona. We

BRIEF RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provides the product division with engineering and other technical support for the
re-development of existing products, overall quality improvements and cost reduction
activities by analyzing manufacturing costs, recommending and implementing appropriate
changes, while ensuring that products and systems continue to conform to quality standards and
manufacturability. Plans and implements redesign project schedules. Initiates sustaining
engineering activities in support of customer driven product improvements and total cost
reduction. Establish accurate and up-to date documentation for all products. Initiate
communication and coordination within the business unit and all associated departments
regarding overall product life-cycle maintenance, product improvements and approved
deviations. Ensure Cal Spas products and manufacturing processes benefit from the latest
applicable and leading edge technologies. 

SUCCESSFUL CRITERIA:

.Must be highly organized and capable of managing multiple competing priorities while
balancing continued long-term projects with immediate needs that arise. 
.Must takes a hand-on approach to all tasks, give attention to the details and produce
error-free results of the everyday tasks. 
.Must possess above average analytical and problem solving skills.
.Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
.Capable working alone or in a team-based environment.
.Must possess an above average proficiency in all MS Office applications, especially Excel and
Word.
.Must have a high level of compute literacy in order to handle the high demand for technical
authoring, procedural documentation, reporting and analysis.
.Able to work all scheduled days, arrive on time and be willing to work extra hours until all
responsibilities are met.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

.Auto CAD, Solid Works, Lean Mfg., QA
.BS Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
.Minimum 3 years Product Engineer
•Minimum 5 year sustaining and manufacturing engineering and product development experience
with a high degree of knowledge at a hands-on level., of manufacturing processes within a
consumer products fabrication and assembly business sector.
.Minimum 3 years of successful Project Management experience with the ability to successfully
manage a project team and coordinate all tasks.
