Job Description:
Occupational Health Case Management Specialist

Graco Inc., a Twin Cities leader in the design and manufacturing of fluid handling equipment,
is looking for an Occupational Health Case Management Specialist.

In this position, you will strive to reduce employee lost time and workers’ compensation
expenses, which arise from on-the-job injuries through case management and applying workers’
compensation laws and aggressive return to work practices. This includes evaluation of injury
claims to confirm their validity and the placement of injured employees in jobs which meet
their physical restrictions. Act as liaison between Graco Inc. and outside service provider
overseeing the day-to-day administration of Short Term Disability/ Salary Continuation, Long
term Disability and Family and Medical Leave Act programs. Responsible for the design and
administration of Graco’s health and wellness program, working with Manager to ensure alignment
and integration with other benefit programs and Graco’s culture. 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum two years experience in occupational health case
management (preferably worker’s compensation). Must have strong knowledge of Family and Medical
Leave Act administration and Short Term Disability/Salary Continuation; the ability to
independently assess an occupational/non-occupational injury/illness, develop and implement a
case management plan, including return to work coordination; demonstrated interpersonal and
negotiating skills; strong written and oral communication skills; excellent organizational
skills; knowledge of ergonomic principles and their application in industrial and office
settings; experience with return to work, occupational safety and industrial hygiene programs;
and experience with design and administration of health and wellness programs. A licensed RN or
LPN is desirable.
