Multiple Exceptions Manager
Organize workforce and expedite workflow to ensure the attainment of
daily production goals while meeting or exceeding financial targets.
Work with pharmacy managers, supervisors, leads, pharmacy director and human resources manager
in handling personnel issues, including the selection, training, annual and on-going
performance evaluation, coaching/development and discipline of staff.
Motivate all areas of exceptions processing to work together in a team effort to accomplish
established objectives. Work with all pharmacy staff and other departments to solve problems
with specific orders.
Monitor, analyze and report the performance of pharmacy production support staff. Achieve
increased efficiency and decreased expense.
Responsible for the day-to-day non-clinical operations of the Mail Operations Pharmacy. This
include cross-functional communications, vendor contracts, staffing requirements, resources
scheduling/utilization, and production equipment maintenance and responsible for on-going
process tracking improvement including implementation and procedure documentation. Identify
areas of risk and implement appropriate controls.
High School diploma required, college degree preferred.
Pharmacy Technician Certification per state requirements, or applicable experience.
5 – 7 years experience supervising in a production environment, 2 – 3 years in health care or
PBM industry preferred.
Knowledge of current pharmacy regulations helpful.
Experience with strategic work planning and budgeting very helpful
Proven leadership skills, team-orientation, and a proactive and optimistic management style.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to solve complex problems and improve quality
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions.
Excellent communication skills.
PC skills including Microsoft office, email and internet.
Familiarity with ESI systems and platforms helpful
Willingness to work a flexible schedule for peak times.
