Under the direction of the research manager of the drug discovery technology group, you will
be part of a team of analysts who conducts market research and produces market research
reports and online subscription products covering the U.S. and World Drug Discovery
Technologies industry. As part of the analyst team, you will collect and analyze primary and
secondary data on market conditions and business growth opportunities, interview Fortune 1000
market participants, write market reports, develop market forecasts and deliver analyst
briefings and cultivate client relationships. On a limited basis, you may also be called on to
work on custom consulting projects within the drug discovery industry. 

Responsibilities include the following:
- Research and monitor selected markets in the drug discovery industry, with the goal of
developing expertise in this market
- Conduct primary interviews with industry experts such as major manufacturers, distribution
channel members, and end-users for the purpose of gathering primary data and ultimately
producing a written market research report.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, and develop revenue forecasts 
- Critically evaluate, summarize and draw conclusions from a wide variety of secondary data
- Write insightful articles on the industry for Frost & Sullivan online, Web newsletters,
magazines, newspapers, and other industry media; contribute in content to reporters for major
business publications
- Establish a presence as an influential and knowledgeable figure in the Drug Discovery
Technology industry. 

The ideal candidate will possess the following: 
- Graduate degreee in Biochemistry, Molecular/Cell Biology, Genetics, Pharmacology, or an
Interdisciplinary biomedical program is required
- Additional coursework or strong interest in Market Research, Business or Economics is highly
- Prior experience in the Drug Discovery, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industries is a
- Understanding of the drug discovery process, basic business principles and financial
- Strong quantitative skills which will facilitate creative and accurate forecast modeling
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate confidently and
- Strong time management skills with ability to work independently in a deadline driven
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with commitment to quality 
- Must demonstrate ability, initiative, and commitment to be a part of a culture of
