Job Description:
Position conducts studies of operating processes and procedures to maximize workflow and
spatial utilization. Ensures facility efficiency and workplace safety. Responsible for the
cost effective planning and layout oversight of equipment, office and distribution facilities.


Responsibilities:
h Develop and maintain accurate work measurement systems in a warehouse environment
h Methods analysis, training and implementation.
h Test, implement and maintain productivity reporting processes and systems.
h Evaluate, recommend and implement engineering designs and plans to support business cost
reduction initiatives.
h Analysis of Distribution Center processes and procedures; identify operational improvement
opportunities; design, evaluate and implement changes and/or revisions as required. 
h Research, develop and document new products and technology that promote productivity and
safety improvement. 
h Work effectively with external resources (consultants and contractors) to ensure
collaborative partnerships to meet business requirements.
h Substantial travel required.


Skill/Experience Requirements:
h BSIE required
h Extensive experience with work measurement methodologies and tools with an emphasis on time
study expertise.
h Experience in best method development
h Minimum of five years experience in projects related to process design, work measurement,
productivity improvement, cost reduction and project implementation.
h Minimum of two years distribution center experience.
h Effective communication skills; demonstrated ability to interact across a broad range of
organizational levels and functions.
h Excellent PC skills V Excel, Work, PowerPoint.
h Experience working with individual incentive programs, development of a management
observation program, or the development of an accountability program.
h Experience performing cost analysis for project justification.
h AutoCAD and Database skills
