Description:

Toxicologist I of Nonclinical Development will be responsible for the nonclinical study set-up
and CRO selection along with study design and protocol development. and operations such as the
oversight of drug or test article shipments and PK or dosing solution sample shipments and
testing per GLP’s. Additional responsibilities include monitoring study in-life and raw data
at contract research laboratories, the review and finalization of study reports, preparing
study summary data tables for IND and NDA submissions, and serving as Nonclinical
representative on project teams. Potential to conduct toxicokinetics (TK) analyses (experience
with WinNonLin) and prepare reports to meet GLP requirements.

Responsibilities:
Oversee nonclinical study set-up / CRO selection

Assist in study design and protocol development

Monitor in-life / raw data for nonclinical studies 

Coordinate report finalization

Evaluate literature for toxicity issues / in-licensing assessments

Serve on project teams
Education & Experience:

Successful candidates will have a MS in toxicology or related scientific field with 5-8 years
or BS with 6-10 years experience in nonclinical testing as a contract lab study director or
supervisor in toxicology or pharmaceutical development. Candidates must also be familiar with
GLP regulations. Travel will be required of this position and is anticipated at a maximum of
20%. Experience with toxicokinetics analyses (including WinNonLin) and report preparation is a
plus.
