DIRECTOR OF CIVIL ENGINEERING:

talented individual with a Civil Engineer Degree to lead our Engineering Division. Must have at
least 10 years work experience in civil engineering with extensive experience in land
development and design projects. Ideal candidate will have experience in subdivisions,
commercial site design, utility design, grading and drainage. Ideal candidate will have
experience estimating staffing needs, schedules and assigns work to meet deadlines. Represents
firm in conferences to plan and coordinate project work. Develops and evaluates criteria for
projects plans. Approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. Verifies
specifications for use in engineering design and development. Reviews status reports,
recognizing and addressing discrepancies. Keeps abreast of engineering developments to
recommend changes in program or design methods. Excellent client interaction experience and a
proven ability to effectively manage, design and produce projects on time and within budget.
Ideal candidate will possess experience in large-scale land development and design, strong
communication skills and the ability to utilize computer systems and software including
drainage, water and wastewater modeling. The ability to obtain professional civil engineering
registration in the State of Florida is required for this position.
