Brand new state of the art Microbiology Lab in Salem, NH seeks an experienced Microbiologist.

Must be proficient in USP Compendial Microbial Analysis testing.
Qualified candidate will peform/manage microbial analysis for raw materials, 
in-process, and finished product testing. Knowledge of USP guidelines, microbiology laboratory
equipment, and cGMP practices required. Microbial identification experience preffered.
Development/validation of microbiological test methods (microbial limits tests, water testing,
endotoxins (LAL), preservative efficiacy evaluations, sterility tests), and environmental
monitoring.

3+ years of laboratory experience in cGMP/FDA/Pharamceutical environment is required.

Must be flexible and willing to handle challenges beyond the job description. Must be able to
demonstrate proficiencies and train other lab staff in Microbial Limits Test (USP <61>)
includes Preparatory Testing, Antimicrobial Effectiveness Test (USP <51> or CTFA Method),
Bacteriostasis/Fungistasis (USP <71>), Growth Promotion Test (USP <71>).

BS in a science-related field is required.
