UPMC Health Plan, a subsidiary of UPMC, serves some 400,000 members with its commercial
insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare+Choice products. Our members are served by some 6,500
physicians at 81 hospitals throughout 26 counties of western Pennsylvania. 

The Director of Trade Relations is responsible for effective leadership within the Health Plan
to identify and secure unrecognized opportunities with current and future trade partners.
Accountability includes, but is not limited to, rebate negotiations, Pharma relationships and
strategies, departmental reporting, drug pipeline development, Pharma pull through programs,
and overall revenue enhancements. 

Master�s degree in business administration (or equivalent) or health management related field
preferred. Senior level manager with at least five years experience in Trade Relations and
health care delivery systems management in a managed care environment. Strong working knowledge
of finance practices, management information systems, prescription benefit management (PBM)
operations and clinical resource management. Knowledge and experience with specialty pharmacy
programs is desirable.
