Infant Teacher

The Goddard School in Powell, located just east of Sawmill Parkway is currently seeking a lead
teacher in our infant, 6 weeks to 12 month, classroom.  Also for the infant classroom we are
currently looking to hire an assistant teacher.  If you are energetic and love to work with
infants this will be a great opportunity. 

 

The lead teacher is a full time position with requirements that includes a degree in Early
Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a CDA plus experience.  Qualified teachers should
have experience in writing lesson plans that will revolve around our set curricular goals and
monthly themes.  Other duties include parent conferences, preparing progress reports, attending
staff meetings and various administrative tasks.  Starting pay for this position is between
$9-$11 but is based on experience, education, and certifications.

 

The assistant teacher for the infant classroom is a full time position and starting pay is
$8.50 to $9.00 based on experience and other qualifications.  Experience with infants is
preferred, must be 18 years old with minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

 

Toddler Assistant

Looking for an assistant teacher in our toddler classroom.  The ages of the children are from
18-30 months and are learning to talk and become independent.  The position is a full time
position and starting pay is $8.50 to $9.00 based on experience and other qualifications. 
Experience with toddlers is preferred, must be 18 years old with minimum high school diploma or
equivalent.

 

Preschool Assistant/Co-Lead

Looking for an assistant teacher in the older preschool classroom.  The children are 3.5 to 5
and are getting ready to go to school.  They will need to be taught writing, reading phonics,
math, and science.  The position is a full time position and starting pay is $8.50 to $9.00
based on experience and other qualifications.  Experience with preschoolers is preferred, must
be 18 years old with minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
