Exciting new opportunity with rapidly growing pharmaceutical company. We are looking for a
Buyer whose primary responsibility will be the purchasing and scheduling of raw materials
(chemicals, packaging, filters, etc. Candidate will implement a sourcing strategy that
maximizes value while managing the supply risk. The successful candidate must have the ability
to analyze supplier proposals, and negotiate the most advantageous terms. Develop mutually
beneficial relationships with suppliers through phone conversations, supplier audits,
tradeshows, and on-site meetings. Ability to source raw materials worldwide. Attend project
team meetings and resolve any procurement issues that may negatively impact the program. Ensure
compliance with regulatory requirements. This position will work as part of the purchasing team
to ensure timely and cost efficient delivery of quality raw materials for the manufacturing
team and as such may back-up other purchasing functions as required.

Bachelor�s degree preferably in Chemistry or Business is required. The person who fills this
position will need to be a team-oriented, clear communicator (both verbal and written
communications). Experience using an ERP system such as SAP or Oracle is preferred. Knowledge
of cGMP�s and chemical supply base preferred.
