Business Development Vice President for dynamic, sophisticated, growth oriented Newport, RI
company that specializes in development and manufacturing of nutritional/nutraceutical foods,
beverages & supplements. For this KEY position, CANDIDATE MUST: * have extensive food industry
experience, ideally, with ability in product development, sourcing, packaging, supply chain and
the general manufacturing processes; the ability to work closely with internal product
development, purchasing, operations, manufacturing and finance departments; * have a vision for
growing a business both domestically and internationally and the ability to build, manage,
energize and bring out the best in the people on the business development team; * be an
excellent sales person and sales manager, and have a positive track record of successfully
working with customers to satisfy their needs & problems * have the ability to create effective
and efficient systems and consistently monitor, update and improve these systems; * be strong
with numbers, and have an understanding and comfort with legal contracts. Key Additional
