Pharmaceutical Industry Analyst

The basic function of the Pharmaceutical Industry Analyst is to collect, organize and analyze
information about ongoing clinical trials in order to enhance the value of the TrialTrove
database.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality of their contribution to their
section of the database:

� Reviewing medical literature, SEC filings and other online and offline information sources as
part of the ongoing maintenance of the database
� Providing guidance to analysts within your therapeutic area group working from different
locations in the US and abroad
� Identifying and adding new information sources and establishing methodologies for analytical
enhancements to the information.
� Performing analysis for, and delivering the results of ad hoc projects requested by
pharma/biotech clients

� Strong analytical and problem solving skills
� Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
� Proven interpersonal skills; client interaction experience 
� Motivated self-starter with a strong results orientation
� Competency in both written and spoken English language
� Ability to work in fast-paced, unstructured environment, typical of entrepreneurial
organizations
� Understanding of the pharmaceutical drug development process and ability to assess the future
impact of a given clinical trial�s design and timing on a given pharmaceutical market

Experience and Education

� 1-2 years work experience at a pharmaceutical industry strategy consulting, market research
firm, or pharmaceutical company is ideal
� Experience with commercial analysis of pharmaceutical company drug pipelines
� Familiarity with drug development and associated pharmaceutical markets 
� Track record of personally completing and delivering analytical work product
� MD, PhD, or other advanced medical/scientific degree is ideal, but not required
