Job Description:
AMETEK Aerospace & Defense is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered systems, including

Position: Director, Global Aftermarket Service & Repairs

We are seeking a dynamic leader who possesses at least ten years of progressive experience in
the Aerospace aftermarket spares and/or repair business. Your experience should include
establishing both domestic and international FAA certified repair stations, winning and
managing military repair work/contracts and the proven ability to effectively operate and
succeed in achieving the organization's objectives within a matrix environment. Previous P & L
experience is highly desirable. Experience in 3rd party repair operations is required. You must
have a reputation for being an energetic leader who is self motivated & capable of overcoming
obstacles while effectively partnering with sales and the Business Units to achieve their
objectives. You should have a strong commitment to operational excellence. Green belt
certification is a plus. Acquisition experience is also highly desirable. 

Key responsibilities include: 
- Development of 3rd party repair business. Gain market share worldwide particularly within the
Pacific Rim and Europe. 
- Rationalization of repair operations worldwide. 
- Identification and integration of acquisitions. 
- Management of day to day Business Unit operational issues. 
- Development of long term strategic plan for the business. 
- Developing and providing excellent customer service delivery 
- Achievement of on time delivery targets, accurate forecasting, management of inventory, and
working with 3rd party distributors to ensure excellent worldwide inventory levels and delivery
of parts to customers. 
- Achievement of sales and profit objectives to support Division plan. 

This position may be located any of our Aerospace & Defense sites. Our sites are located in
California, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania and Washington. You must also be capable of
potentially traveling 50% to both domestic and international locations.
